Shake That LabelI havn't been around the blockShake That Label by LimeinthaCoconut
Not even once, but I look out the door.
The corner's right there, the coast is clear
My eyes are open, but I'm hating the chore.
No reason to stop now, put it all up to risk now.
So put your money down, put your neck on the table.
You're feeling so hot now, you're calling the shots now.
Switch things up, you gotta shake that label.

Second ChanceIt's fair to say Owen was a loner. In fact, loner is probably the nicest thing that he's been called. He's never held a job, and he's never been married. The closest person he has to him is his daughter, and even she has kept a distance for much of her life. He's found friendship in alcohol binges and 16 hours in front of the television.Second Chance by LimeinthaCoconut
"Life is easy only when life is planning on how to mess you up later".
Owen heard that often in his childhood, and didn't believe it until he was an adult. His alcoholic binges and lack of exercise caused his liver to fail. He twisted and turned at night of fleeting regrets of his shortened life. After waking up in a cold sweat in his empty, cold hospital room, he pondered his night terror. The only regret all related to his daughter. Not being there. Never talking to her. Never caring. He cried to sleep that night, being the last night of his life
The next day, he had opted off his medicine and some alone time from the doctors. He was about to close h
A Forest Askew (The Poem)I stand in a forestA Forest Askew (The Poem) by LimeinthaCoconut
Askew from the world.
The trees act as a fortress
The leaves and the soil are swirled.
A man-made swing
Balances on an untouched oak.
The harmony of the bird's sing.
Clashes with the chained swing's croak.
With closed eyes for ambiance
I balance myself and sit.
I slowly feel an audiance
Yet, I second guess my wit.
"May I sit on the swing?"
My eyes awaken from my trance.
"Of course, I apologize..."
My eyes begin to glance
'Where is she?' my brain can't analyze.
Does the forest have words?
I left the swing to the wild.
My footsteps as loud as chords.
Violent, yet mild.
I leave the forest
Askew from the world.
I know my place, a tourist.
I left with questions, and a brain twirled.
Young GirlHey there young girl don't look downYoung Girl by ReinShiroyama
The world really wants to see those pretty brown eyes!
Hey young girl don't walk like no one's looking
Straighten up your back, you've got our undivided attention!
Hey young girl don't listen to what they say
You know you'll always be beautiful in my eyes!
Hey, hey little girl! I don't want to see you cry anymore, okay?
Hey young girl, that's it, smile!
It makes you look so nice and young.
Smile for me okay, because I'm glad that you're alive.
And when they ask me why I want that small young girl to hear my plea
I look at them and say "because that young girl is me!"

This nagging sensation
will draw the blade home.
Silence was never golden
serenity is a crimson stream.
Memory, once only skin deep
finds shelter somewhere deeper
concealed under scar tissue.
Hide with fear of love and scalpel
an everyday stare to hide the truth.
Not all wounds are physical;
Not all pain can be forgiven.
Change It Up!MorningChange It Up! by gothss123
Are words we say
We use through the day.
I think we should change
Change our way.
These empty starts
Show the routine we follow
No new parts
Everything becomes hollow
Next time you want to talk to someone you don't know
Say something random
Put on a show
What have you got to lose?
If they want to be friends
They'll keep the conversation going
And won't let it end
When it's time to go away
You don't say goodbye
But see you another day
My new friend the random guy
